Join Social Media Club New York City (SMCNYC) for Social Media Camp NY, 2.0 on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Roger Smith Hotel. We're proud to be joined by SMC North Jersey and SMC Long Island as well.
In June of 2009 we ran a very successful Social Media Camp, sharing the basics of Social Media as well as some more advanced techniques. For Social Media Week 2011 we'll do this again.
Who Should Attend?: If you are in a big company, trying to get social media outreach going internally or externally, come on down. Small company trying to figure out where Social Media Can help you? Welcome. Individual who wants to understand how to use Facebook and Twitter for your small business or consultancy - we have you covered.
Format:
We will have a few rooms available and will be partially running Social Media Camp in a traditional Open Space / BarCamp
format, with one ‘introductory’ track intended for people
looking to learn the social media basics for use in their marketing efforts and for generally joining the
conversation about how to use social media for their organization.
